Abstract

Fake news exist even before social media but it has multifold since it’s advent. Fake news is a news designed to deliberately spread hoaxes propaganda and disinformation. Fake news stories usually spread through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram We detected fake news deep learning to examine the account's behavior by utilizing a number of features, including some news content features that are associated with the Facebook account. This research is conducted on CNN, LSTM, KNN, RNN, decision tree models with five experiments using fake news dataset. Proposed model achieved best accuracy 96% for fake news detection as compared to other models.
